We went full-on camping this weekend. 3 mile hike in, big heavy packs,
campfire, marshmallow roasting, sleeping under the stars, waterfalls, 3
miles out. Daddy might have been a little overly ambitious on this
one. It got pretty darn cold and everyone was really tired for the hike
out, but the girls did awesome and can't stop talking about all the fun
they had. Here are a few pics.

Birthday Season
Big times here at the Thompson house. The girls turned 3 a few weeks ago, we've done away with pacifiers now, and even done away with diapers (mostly)! We spread out their birthday celebration for a while, but here are pictures from some of the fun...

Run Along
I have a plethora of photos I haven't yet had a chance to post (going back to summer...), but here are some recent photos from trailrunning with the girls. They love it and this week on a sunny day we did our longest run ever- 3 miles! They were definitely tired at the end but with a picnic in the middle they ran strong and were loving it. Also, as you can see dresses and tutus are their running apparel of choice!

Puddle Jumpin and Trailrunning
Here are some pics from a puddle jumping adventure run to the library we all took today in the pouring rain. Also some shots from trailrunning last week!

Halloween! ...and yes, we're still alive!
Life's been crazy... as usual, and we apologize for the lack of updates. But here are some quickies from Halloween!

Raspberry Heaven
A few Saturdays ago, I took the girls out to a U-pick berry farm east of Seattle with Uncle David. Here are some pics that David took and a few of mine too. (the ones that look like they belong in a magazine were taken by David...) The girls ate many berries and Katherine did pretty well at actually picking and putting them in her bucket, whereas Annabelle's berries never made it in anyone's bucket. Once their bellies were full, they were just as happy running in and out of the raspberry rows and then the corn they found too. We'll have to get back out for more berry picking soon.
