Twinkle, twinkle

Annabelle singing Twinkle, twinkle in its entirety with no help.  She's like a little sponge for songs and doesn't really  sing along with you, but soaks it all in and then just spouts them back and surprises us later!

Running and Reading

A few days ago Kirsten and I took the girls out for a run (they're loving getting to go running on their own now even if it's just around the block).  This time, since they're not into the stroller at all anymore, I decided to see if they'd like pushing someone else in the stroller.  So we loaded up our penguins and pushed them around on our run.  They liked that alright, but then decided the penguins were getting too cold so we needed to pull them out and snuggle them.  Then the girls discovered a few books in the stroller and pulled those out.  We were running along and then realized Katherine had just plopped herself down to read her new story.  It was really funny, and Annabelle ended up joining her briefly.

We've been even busier than normal lately, but all good things.  Our kitchen remodel is finally close to complete, and definitely fully functional now, so that is great.  Here's a barrage of photos from this month so far.  The girls love to go out running now (not in the stroller...), and there are some photos from today's trail run in this batch.
